Safety First: Advanced Protection Features in Yucoo's Power Supply Products

A power supply is the heart of any electronic device, providing the necessary power for operation. However, as they deal with high voltage and current levels, power supplies can also pose a risk if not designed properly. Yucoo, a leading power supply manufacturer, has taken extensive measures to ensure the safety of both their devices and users.

Overvoltage Protection (OVP)

Overvoltage Protection is a feature that limits the output voltage of the power supply to prevent it from exceeding a certain level. This protection feature is essential in applications where the device being powered cannot withstand high voltages. Yucoo integrates OVP in their supplies, and the OVP circuitry detects when the output voltage exceeds a preset threshold and immediately shuts down the power supply, preventing any damage to the device.

Overcurrent Protection (OCP)

Overcurrent Protection is another crucial safety feature in Yucoo's power supplies. It limits the output current of the power supply to prevent it from exceeding a certain level. The OCP circuitry in Yucoo's power supply products detects when the output current exceeds a preset threshold and immediately shuts down the power supply, preventing any damage to the device.

Short-Circuit Protection (SCP)

A short circuit can cause significant damage to both the power supply and the load. Yucoo's power supplies come equipped with Short-Circuit Protection, a feature that protects the power supply from damage caused by a short circuit in the load. The SCP circuitry detects the high current flow and immediately shuts down the power supply, preventing any damage to the power supply or the load.

Over-Temperature Protection (OTP)

High temperatures can occur due to a malfunction or overloading of the power supply, which can lead to damage. Yucoo has tackled this issue by integrating Over-Temperature Protection in their power supplies. The OTP circuitry detects when the temperature of the power supply exceeds a preset threshold and immediately shuts down the power supply, preventing any damage to the power supply or the device being powered.

Surge Protection

Voltage surges or spikes can occur due to lightning strikes, power outages, or other electrical disturbances and can cause significant damage to the power supply and the device being powered. Yucoo's power supplies are designed with surge protection features that detect the voltage surge or spike and immediately shut down the power supply, preventing any damage.

Under-Voltage Protection (UVP)

Yucoo's power supplies also feature Under-Voltage Protection, which monitors the DC output voltages to ensure that they do not drop below pre-specified limits. If the voltage in the circuits drops below these limits, the power supply will automatically shut down.

Over-Power Protection (OPP) / Over-Load Protection (OLP)

Yucoo has also incorporated Over-Power Protection and Over-Load Protection in their power supplies. These features kick in and shut down the power supply if the power pulled by the components is above the maximum rated capacity of the power supply.
